My philosophy of education is in line with those identified in "Philosophical Foundations of Education."
Provide a curriculum that directly relates to the learner's community, not a textbook version or one delivery mode that is not connected to real life experiences.
Provide a learning environment that is suited for the learner to be self-directed and flexible; not the standard classroom format that has existed in the past.
Learn how to communicate with students by learning from them. I support and coach learners on how to effectively communicate with others.
Develop and sustain thought processes for social justice and not selfish gain.
Develop the sense of unity; inclusion and not exclusion based on an individual's culture, race, religion, sexuality, sex, or other stereotypes.
